We went to Padova (Padua) some 40 km
distant that is known for it's old buildings and architecture.
Prato Della Valle: Big, elliptical square which is the biggest square in Italy (and one of the biggest in Europe). There are many
statues of old guys wearing dresses around the churches and in the squares. One
statue even had a stone seagull sitting on it's head(!)
We had lunch at Pedrochi Cafe which has historical and architectural value - very good ambiance, great food
and good Cabernet.
Later we went to the botanical park of Padova (Orto Botanica), known as the world's first botanical garden and which is in Unesco's World Heritage List.
It
rained a good part of the day which seems to be normal here. Everything is very
green and pretty.

You look more and more younger everyday!
