On 19th of september we left Sanremo and drove to Sottomarina, area of
Chioggia (very close to Venice) to stay for a week.
The next day we walked around and took a few photos. Chioggia has the canals
and boats much like Venice but without the excessive tourists.
Chioggia is at the north end of the
Delta Po national park that is a large wildlife refuge. We are hoping for good
weather to be able to take a tour to observe the birds here.
Another day we visited the open market and had coffee in the same area.
