Travel day from Una National Park,
Bosnia to Paklenica National Park, Croatia - 180 km.
We were planning on spending a bit of time at Plitvice National Park in Croatia as it was on the way – but you could hardly enter the parking lots as it was so crowded. We drove in and out – short stop! There was a line at the entry point 100 meters long or more even. Just gentle walking trails and falls so no big loss.
All the way was good roads with tolls on the freeways in Croatia. We arrived in Startgrad-Paklenica, Croatia in good time – found our accommodations easy.
(We found a road map program that functions off line for android - http://maps.me/en/home on playgoogle – it downloads the map when you enter an area or when you are looking ahead at roads and then no more connection required. Works great. Not like a Garmin GPS unit but the cost was 0$ as compared to several hundred dollars for a Garmin.)
This is a quiet nice town where the mountains and the sea become one which gives great views and moreover Paklenica National Park sitting right next door.
In the evening we ate dinner at a restaurant by the coast and both of us got drunk! (Ferda a little bit more...)
