Una National Park

The couple that own the apartment where we are staying are fantastic - perfect people for the job. They both seem to enjoy what they are doing. (Physically they look like Ferda's aunt and uncle).

As we are out of town on a bumpy road we asked about having dinner at the apartment – no problem and it was great! The dinner was home cooked and probably organic. The bread was wonderful and the berry juice as a drink couldn’t be beat. All set up in the garden under shade. (Russ said it's the best dinner we had since we left mom's). You could smell the fresh cut hay from a small field nearby.

The attraction at this location is the river and the falls. We watched as five rafts went over and through the rapids. Great entertainment!

After a lunch at the falls area we  headed up the hill following a trail. Here there seems to be little marking of the trails. We went to and old fort and farther before returning to the falls area for a beer. Over 32°C (low 90s F) today.

In the morning we head for the Croatian coast - Starigrad-Paklenica, Croatia. Hoping for smooth and easy travel! Only 175 km tomorrow!
