First Day in Italy

The first thing we did on our first day in Italy was grocery shopping! The supermarket closes at 13:00 hours on Sunday. The next challenge was to try to decipher the labels in yet another language – hope we were more or less correct.

Oderzo is called an archeological town. It has a nice city square with old buildings around. Great place for a cup of coffee.

Later we went to another town, Treviso which is 30 km away. A river flows through canals in the middle of the city. Looks like a miniature version of Venice. It has pleasant squares and little streets with cafes and boutiques alongside which reminded us about Alacati back home. We went to Latin square and walked around before enjoying drinks and later dinner.
